New grant funds provide companies with the opportunity to strengthen their sustainable initiatives: We can help you transform compliance requirements into competitive advantages
Jan 22, 2026

Erhvervshus Hovedstaden has just opened three new grant schemes designed to support SMEs in accelerating their green transition. This is a nationwide initiative funded by the Danish Board of Business Development.
This is an ideal opportunity to initiate a wide range of sustainability initiatives. If your company is looking to work strategically with LCAs, climate actions, environmental certifications, or product‑specific carbon footprints, we are ready to help clarify which grant best fits your needs and how your project can be shaped to meet the criteria.
Grants for sustainable investments and advisory services
The first scheme allows companies to apply for up to DKK 300,000 for sustainable investments combined with advisory services. The grant covers 25 percent of the investment and 50 percent of the advisory services, and funding can be applied for separately or in combination. For example, we have supported CLEANN in achieving the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and assisted Thorup Copenhagen in documenting product carbon footprints and obtaining the official EU Ecolabel for the Noel chair collection.
Grants for ESG reporting and sustainability documentation
The second scheme provides up to DKK 150,000 for ESG reporting and documentation of a company’s sustainability efforts. ESG documentation is increasingly requested by customers, partners, and investors, and a robust report can serve as a genuine competitive advantage, not just a compliance task. We can support both the development of the documentation and the creation of a clear action plan.
Grants for competence development within the green transition
The third scheme provides up to DKK 60,000 for competence development. We offer tailored training programs designed around your company’s needs and existing knowledge.
How grant scheme 1 can be used to get started with the QI Platform
For manufacturing companies wishing to calculate product‑level carbon footprints, scheme 1 can also be used to get started with the QI Platform. The platform enables the calculation and documentation of product carbon footprints in accordance with the ISO 14067 standard. Each project will always be individually structured according to your needs, but a typical setup may include:
Account setup in the QI Platform
Onboarding package of DKK 49,995
Three days for integrating with your ERP system
Two days of training, including onboarding of relevant personnel and an introduction to LCA, EPDs, and related data
Eight hours of ad hoc consultancy support
Twelve‑month subscription starting at DKK 3,995 per month*
*Minimum price for the Auto Pilot package
A brief conversation can help clarify your next steps. The grants are open now, and funding is limited, so it is worthwhile to get started quickly.
