Local Spirits Leads the Spirits Industry by Offering Order-Level Climate Footprints

Local Spirits has taken a significant step toward creating transparency in their sustainability reporting. As one of the few spirits distributors in Denmark, the company can now offer its customers documented climate data at the order level - a solution that provides customers with a solid foundation for their own climate and organic accounts.

To ensure professional rigor and transparency in the calculation basis, Quantified Impacts has served as a knowledge partner and external advisor. We have reviewed and documented Local Spirits’ in-house model for climate data calculations, as well as verified the emission factors and input data used. The result is a background report that describes the methodology, assumptions, and data foundation in accordance with established standards for climate accounting.

The goal has been to create trust and usability. Local Spirits’ customers now gain access to climate and organic figures that are professionally validated and practically applicable in their own reporting.
